Under the new American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009, textbooks and other course material expenses (such as computers, calculators, lab specimens, pen, paper, paints, video tapes, etc.) incurred in 2009 and beyond, not covered by your scholarships or your grant aid, may be used as a tax credit on that year's tax return. And it allows the credit to be claimed for your four post-secondary education years.
Requirements:
» you must be an undergrad student
» more than half-time student
» documentation of your transactions
(ie receipts and/or bookstore documents)

Tax Credit : With the new American Opportunity Tax Credit, Full-Time Students may receive up to $2500 tax credit and possibly up to $1000 tax refund for your course material purchases. You need your receipts or Bookstore purchasing documentation when filing. So with our new Purchase History website, let us do all of the work, and you do all the saving!
BuyBack : Receive emails of the value of your textbooks you purchased here at the Bookstore when you presented your Student ID.
Mid-Day Maddness : all CLASS members receive 10% off all Textbooks
CLASS Appreciation Day : to appreciate our CLASS customers, we offer 25% off clothing, gifts, Greek merchandise, and school supplies. And 10% off computer supplies.
